City Administration keeps attempting to seek additional flat for evictees of Kampung Pulo, Kampung Melayu Urban Village, Jatinegara, East Jakarta that have no received any flat unit.

Relaying on Kampung Melayu Urban Village Head data, Bambang Pangestu, there are 925 households living in Kampung Pulo while flat unit provided in Jatinegara Barat flat merely 520 units. That means, 405 households have not received flat unit.
Head of Jakarta Public Housing and Government's Building Department, Ika Lestari Aji admitted she cannot ensure the flat prospect location. But she certainly sure residents living along Ciliwung riverbank included in the priorities of residents who will obtain flat.
"We'll find the solution, especially for underprivileged residents," she said, Saturday (9/4).
Currently, her side it is still trying to find empty unit flat in capital, and can be used for Kampung Pulo resident.
"We still arrange an empty flat for them," she uttered.
She hopes hundreds of households should have more patient.
"Please be more patient, we're still working on it," she explained.
